“I had the great honor and privilege of attending ETÈREO’s El Inicio retreat, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. Paije and Fletcher move through their work with such grace, and curated every single detail with so much love, care, and intention. They created a warm, intimate container for all, making it effortless to establish authentic and meaningful connections with the other guests and practitioners, while providing ample opportunities for personal reflection and processing.
The retreat venue was absolutely stunning with lovely private casitas overlooking crystal views of desert and ocean. The beautiful meals prepared by Chef Paul Barbosa were, nourishing, grounding, creative and delicious. Supportive, yoga, breath work, and workshop offerings were also included, and synchronized so perfectly with the schedule of events. I’m forever mesmerized by the beauty and magic of the raw Baja desert where the land ceremony took place, and am humbled to have participated in such a powerfully immersive healing experience while being held in nature.
My personal medicine journey with 5-MeO-DMT was pure transcendence, and while I’m still processing this sacred gift, I’m actively witnessing transformational shifts in perspective that are integrating into my daily life. I hold the whole retreat experience in my heart with the deepest gratitude and reverence, and am forever changed. “My husband and I attended a five day retreat hosted by Paije and Fletcher in Todos Santos in January 2023 Seven years earlier I had been given a stage four cancer diagnosis. This provoked me to start a spiritual journey, and I believed I had healed. Now, my marriage was in shambles, I was betrayed, shocked and in alarm. Our relationship was hanging together by the finest thread. I had no expectations of the plant medicine, except that I hoped to be given something, anything, to help me make sense of and navigate the seemingly constant drama and crisis in my life. I am uncomfortable (terrified!) consuming any mind-altering substances, and I take very seriously the power and potential of plant medicine.
